Full Description: The Value of your CPA firm is more than just a theoretical price tag. It’s the single most important indicator of your success as an owner. However, business owners rarely discuss value in a clear and concise way. We are taught to focus on the bottom line. We are told the bottom line is what matters – but the bottom line, profit, cash flow are all just a piece of the puzzle. They are all backwards looking indicators, and Value is what happens tomorrow. Value is the ability of the business to generate profit in the future. If you only focus on profit your company will never generate real value, history proves it. And ultimately what really matters to you as the owner is ‘Value’ – what your business is worth in the marketplace.

Building a valuable business is actually very simple, but it’s not easy. A sustainable and transferable firm is a more valuable firm and we will introduce this concept in this session. The value of your firm and its ability to sustain is important to you, your clients, your employees, and your community. Strong performance and profitability will follow a commitment to building a more valuable firm. We will explore elements of a valuable firm and how to get started on this journey.  Its simple and attainable as long as you take one step at a time, engage your team in pursuit of your mission, and stay on your charted path.
