Collin Wells began his career at Tri-Merit as a Project Manager, where he led R&D tax credit studies and worked closely with clients and internal teams to deliver accurate, well-supported results. In 2024, he stepped into a Team Lead role, balancing a reduced personal workload while focusing on supporting the Project Managers on his team. In this capacity, Collin ensures his team has the resources, guidance, and support needed to successfully complete their studies.
Prior to joining Tri-Merit, Collin worked in the R&D tax credit industry as a Project Manager, bringing valuable industry experience to his role from day one.
Collin graduated from the University of Alabama in 2018 with a degree in Finance.
Outside of work, Collin has a unique pandemic-era travel story—within just six months, he relocated from Houston to Chicago and back to Alabama due to COVID-related changes.
