John Kapral JD, CPA, LLM
John is Senior Director – Renewable Energy Incentives & Credits based in Northern California. His professional and client advisory experience includes working in tax incentives & credits since 2006. Prior to Tri-Merit, John served 5 years as Principal for national CPA firm CLA, leading their Western Region Federal Tax Incentives & Credits Group. Currently, John works with Tri-Merit’s Energy Services Team, building on 20 years of professional and personal interests in clean electrification and renewable energy. John previously practiced as a corporate and tax attorney, and as a technology commercialization consultant to the US Department of Energy. John is a CPA and Attorney and has an LLM in Taxation from Boston University, JD from Villanova Law School, and BS in Accounting from Bentley University.
